Saudi Arabia to Launch Its First Ever Tourist Visa

The kingdom of Saudi Arabia will soon welcome its first visitor on the tourist visa. The country aims to do so by the end of the first quarter of 2018. Everyone is speculating about the kind of rules Saudi Arabia will impose on the visitors since it has always professed with the strong Islamic faith. A government official once said that they want to preserve the country’s elegance and culture and not become like Dubai. Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage confirmed that the kingdom will take two more months to announce its visa rules. All the rules will be published in the official gazette. Apart from that, it will also upload on Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage website. The government agency also advised people to stay away from the news that talk gives updates on Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector. He told to ignore the requirements and conditions mentioned in the news report. Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Interiors will be handling all the launch of the tourist visa and co-ordinate to check if everything is happening on time. For now, everything is happening smoothly and on time. So you can expect the visa to be ready in no time. The government agency has always worked towards strengthening the tourism sector in Saudi Arabia. The kingdom took the decision to boost its tourism sector and launch its first ever tourist visa after oil prices crashed a couple of years ago.
