Prince Edward Island has announced 270 ITA’s for a provincial nomination to immigration applicants in its pools of Labour Impact and Express Entry Expression of Interest.
The Oct 18 EOI draw was the biggest of 2018, surpassing the earlier 2018 high of 152 invitations announced by these 02 immigration categories on Apr 19. Provincial Nominee Program of Prince Edward Island, the P.E.I P.N.P, did not tell how many invitations were announced to applicants in particular category.
The P.E.I P.N.P also announced 27 invitations to immigrant business people with scores as less as 135 by its Work Permit Stream.
The Express Entry category is associated with the system of federal Express Entry, which runs the pool of applicants for Canada’s 03 main programs of economic immigration

Express Entry applicants who would like to be recognized for P.E.I immigration usually should first finish an Expression of Interest (E.O.I) profile online and present it to the province’s Immigration Office.
Critical Factors to Get Invitation
EOIs are reviewed and allocated points depends on 06 selection factors: language, age, education, employment, work experience, and adaptability up to a maximum of 100 points. Qualified candidates are then placed in P.E.I’s Express Entry E.O.I pool depends on their scores.
Express Entry applicants who appeal for and get a provincial nomination from P.E.I are given a further 600 points via their score of Comprehensive Ranking System.
Labour Impact Category of P.E.I also works on an E.O.I basis and is separated into 03 streams — Critical Worker, Skilled Worker, and Foreign Graduate. Applicants for these streams should be either presently working for a P.E.I company or have a job offer from an organization in the P.E.I province, with other criteria.
