in World News by

Indians traveling to New Zealand won’t have to wait for 15 days to get their travel visa because Thomas Cook India just became a preferred partner for the Tourism Industry Partnership program started by Immigration New Zealand and Tourism New Zealand. This means Indian applicants will receive their travel visa in just three working days if they book via Thomas Cook.

A representative of Thomas Cook India mentioned in a statement that the TIP program between Immigration New Zealand and Tourism New Zealand will focus on streamlining visa process for Indians traveling to the country. Because of the partnership, Indian leisure travelers will get their New Zealand visa in just three days instead of waiting for a fortnight. A tourism critic said that New Zealand is lately becoming a popular travel destination for Indian travelers. Rajeev Kale, country head, and president, Holidays, MICE, Visa & Passport, Thomas Cook India, said that they are delighted about New Zealand choosing Thomas Cook as a preferred agent for the partnership. Faster visa program means the number of Indians traveling to New Zealand is more, which is of great help for the country’s economy.

Kale said that they’ve seen a steady growth in travelers going to New Zealand, an increase of 19 percent over the past couple years and has become an essential market for Thomas Cook India. The new visa program will provide an enriching travel experience for Indians, and he is looking forward to seeing an increased interest.

A magical land

New Zealand is a beautiful and magical country with mesmerizing natural attractions including Milford Sound, Fiordland National Park, Tongariro National Park, Waitomo Caves, Fox Glacier, Abel Tasman National Park, and Routeburn Track. You can visit New Zealand any time of the year, but it gets very cold during the winters, which are between June to August since it is in the southern hemisphere.
