2018 Will Be New Achievements for Immigration Canada

in Immigration by

Canada is one country wherein every Canadian will proudly say that they are proud to belong to the country, not only for treating them the correct but also for showing humanity towards everyone else. David Cohen is an attorney from Montreal, who runs a reputable immigration law firm, Canada Visa. He personally feels that 2018 is going to be a year for challenges and significant achievements for Canada, which will be much more significant than those in 2017.

After the Liberal government won the elections in 2015, you could feel a wave of positive change coming in. Trudeau government has brought instability in the system by dealing with conditional permanent residence, allowing dual citizenship for immigrants, and healthcare for refugees. Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, said that a Canadian is a Canadian. When you judge someone while granting citizenship, you are degrading your humanity.

Two years since Trudeau became the prime minister, things are so much better. He took over the country in a crumbling form and fixed it even better. Today, everyone around the world takes Canada as an inspiration of a model country. Trudeau and his cabinet are acknowledged for starting the Global Talent Stream, Express Entry System, and Refugee program. Due to its cost of living and safe environment, many American companies including Google, Microsoft, and Facebook have opened or soon will be opening offices in Canada.

Trudeau administration’s three-year immigration plan

After seeing how successful the Express Entry system was in 2017, the government plans to invite over 600,000 skilled immigrants from all over the world in Canada. In total, Canada targets to bring in over one million immigrants, which includes refugees too. One thing lies uncertain, and that is, the US’s anti-immigration behavior is driving illegal US immigrants into Canada. Even though the country will handle it well, it adds on what already expected out of her.
