Manitoba's Latest Expression of Interest (EOI) draw sees 196 immigration candidates invited to submit an application for a provincial nomination in a bid to get Canadian Permanent Residence.
Following another round of Expression of Interest draw held by Manitoba on May 23, 196 immigration candidates got an invitation to apply for a nomination from the province. 119 candidates in Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream received the Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs), Skilled Workers Overseas candidates received 60, and the final 17 invitations went to international graduates of Manitoba post-secondary institutions via the province's International Education Stream.
The 196 invitations issued in the May 23 draw brought the number of invitations to apply for a provincial nomination in pursuit of permanent issued by Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) so far in 2019 to 4,320.
Through its Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program, Manitoba nominates immigration candidates that are considered to have the skill sets needed in the province and can as well settle quickly with good economic welfare for permanent residence. With over 130,000 beneficiaries since its inception in 1998, MPNP has the reputation of being one of the best and most successful nominee programs by provinces in Canada.
27 Express Entry candidates benefited from the latest draw according to the province. The candidates have experience in at least one of the occupations on Manitoba's In-Demand Occupations List as well as possess job seeker validation code.
All Express Entry candidates who get provincial nomination are awarded 600 points in addition to their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score which effectively guarantees Canadian permanent residence.
The minimum scores in the latest draw are 506 and 548 for Skilled Workers Overseas and Skilled Workers in Manitoba respectively.
